What an AI vending machine actually is
An AI vending machine is a refrigerated cabinet with a locked glass door. A customer taps a card or phone, the door unlocks, they take whatever they want, and they close it. Cameras and weight sensors work out what left the shelf and charge the card for exactly that.
You will see the same machine called a smart vending machine, a smart cooler, an AI smart cooler or a scan-and-grab cooler. The vocabulary hasn't settled yet. They all describe the same thing, and it is what we place.
What it is not is a traditional vending machine with a screen bolted on. There are no selection codes, no spirals and no dispensing mechanism — which removes the part that jams.
The differences your people will actually notice
- Nothing gets stuck. No coil means no item hanging by its corner, and no one shaking your machine at midnight.
- Bigger and odder items fit. Sandwiches, salads, protein boxes, pints of ice cream, ponchos — things a spiral simply cannot hold.

- We see problems before you report them. Stock levels, temperature and faults report continuously, so a low shelf is our job to notice, not your front desk's.

What it costs the business hosting it
Nothing. We buy the machine, deliver it, install it, stock it, service it and insure it. You provide the floor space and a standard 110V outlet.
The only running cost is electricity — roughly $7 to $19 a month depending on the model and how warm the room is. There is no lease, no service contract and no invoice from us at any point. We earn from what sells, and depending on traffic there may be a commission back to you.

What people ask before they say yes
Does it need to go on our wifi?
No. The machines can run on their own cellular connection, so there is nothing for your IT team to approve and nothing added to your network. That is usually the fastest way to get a placement past a corporate security review.
What happens if it charges someone incorrectly?
The refund contact is printed on the machine and comes to us, not to your staff. We would rather refund quickly than argue — a guest who gets their money back the same day generally stays a customer.
Are the cameras watching people?
They are pointed at the shelves, not the room, and their job is identifying which product moved. This is inventory detection, not surveillance of your guests or staff.
What if it breaks down?
We see faults remotely as they happen and come out to fix them. If a machine is ever out of service for more than fifteen consecutive days, you can have it removed or end the agreement with no early termination fee. Removal is always at our cost.
How long does it take to get one?
Usually one to two weeks from the first conversation. We look at the space, recommend a model and a product mix, then deliver it stocked.
